Newcastle Town Hall Wedding

This wedding I hold near and dear to my heart, because anytime I have a chance to photograph a wedding in the heart of Newcastle, I get nostalgic. You see, I spent most of my childhood years growing up in Newcastle. The Newcastle Town Hall is where I as a 5-year-old taking ballet lessons and where those preteen dances were held. So, when Lauren and Brendan mentioned that this was the location, it immediately brought me back.

Lauren and Brendan are two of the sweetest people – the kind of people where you can become friends with in an instant. The day of their wedding was the perfect balance for a winter wedding. Not extremely cold but did have a light dusting of snow. With most weddings there is a point where I get goosebumps and overwhelmed with emotion – for this wedding it was the first look between Lauren and her dad – I teared up during the moment, and when I revisited the moment while editing. The second was the first look – when Brendan saw his bridge for the first time – I felt the love he has for her. Check out their wedding below to see just how amazing their wedding day really was!
